Exxpect cherry flavors, fruity esters, notes of sweet bread, burnt sugar flavors with moderate carbonation & a beautifully boozy finish. A unique fact about this beer, the color of this brew is a direct result of the boil. Our beer engineers boiled this the Barleywine for 3 hours, boiling off 30% of the wort. During this process the sugars are condensed and caramelized, creating a rich color. Next, we ran the rest of the beer on top of the resulting boil and boiled it for one more hour. By utilizing the artistry of brewing, patience and precision, we negated any use for crystal malts and caramel malts which typically create caramel flavors and color in the brew. ABV: 10 OG: n/a |
