Description: This ale is conceived in three small batches with voluminous amounts of barley and hops. We brewed this lightly sweet and warming ale with blackstrap molasses & maple syrup, which give it notes of dried fruit and rich grains.

Description: While we were growing our families and our brewery, we were aging this beer in bourbon barrels previously used for our Barrel-Aged Framinghammer. Lengthy aging allows the 12.6% ABV beer to mellow and develop a deep molasses-like sweetness with port-like dark fruit flavors. This beer is a sipper- you’ve been warned!

Description: Brewed in the tradition of English-style barley wines, Cereal Killer offers an explosion of full-bodied, liquid goodness. Robust malty flavors converge with caramel, toffee, molasses and dark fruit notes to produce a remarkably complex and palate-pleasing beer. Its intense malt character is complemented by a subtle citrus finish from the Crystal hops. With cellar-aging, Cereal Killer’s flavor evolves further, developing a sherry-like aroma and flavor similar to a cask-aged port. Winner of the Silver Medal for Barley Wine Style Ale at the 2007 GABF. Barrel-aged Cereal Killer was also the winner of the Gold Medal for Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer at the 2009 GABF.

Description: These days it's tragically rare to address one's peers as "Ladies and Gentlemen," so with this special end-of-the-year beer, we've created an occasion to do so. Premium European malts, hops from New Zealand and the Yakima Valley, and house-made candi syrup combine in our golden version of an American barleywine. The nose is redolent of peach cake, lime blossoms and clementines; on the palate vanilla icing and juicy citrus meld with a firm bitterness. Ladies and Gentlemen, here's to another great year!

Description: An elusive ale brewed with maple syrup. it spent 12 months ‘in the woods’ developing strong character in three ways. One third of the beer was kept in bourbon barrels. Another third aged in bourbon barrels that once held maple syrup. The remaining liquid was aged on hand charred oak staves that had spent time in Southern Tier Distilling Company’s American Whiskey.
