Mass. Bay Brewing Donates Food to Homeless Shelter

The Mass. Bay Brewing Company, makers of Harpoon Beer, recently donated over $4,000 worth of food to Rosie's Place, a homeless shelter for women in downtown Boston.

The Harpoon family and friends took a portion of the food and prepared and served a Fourth of July Barbecue dinner to all the women at Rosie's. The money for the food was raised at a holiday benefit party held in December at the brewery.

The December benefit included live music and complimentary food from ten Boston restaurants, and attracted a crowd of 400. Another benefit at the brewery is planned for March 13. Call (617) 455-1935 for more information.
